Collections
The archive houses 281 collections from women's organisations throughout Switzerland and 266 private estates as well as an extensive press documentation. The documentation comprises two parts: the biographical notes and the thematic notes.
The Gosteli Archive collects materials on all themes. Whether women campaigned for political rights, for domestic work, against violence, in specific occupational fields or for any social issue they considered important is equally relevant and interesting to us. In addition to written documents, the archive preserves audiovisual materials such as photographs, posters, slides, video cassettes and audio recordings. We also take on digitally created archive materials and are currently working on setting up a digital long-term archive.
