Building project
The Gosteli Archive is bursting at the seams. We are therefore planning an extension to provide space for the professional storage of our archives.
umtun
Why do people volunteer? The motivations are as varied as the activities themselves. ‘umtun’ presents stories of volunteers who questioned social and legal norms and sought to change them.
‘umtun’ is a collaborative public history project run by the University of Fribourg and the Gosteli Archive.
Zusammenfrauen
What have women fought for and achieved together? We tell the success stories of women's movements in Switzerland: the recognition of unpaid care work in the old-age state pension system, more social security for women farmers, inclusion in sports and much more. Read for yourself!
